再開発の結果
２・３年程前から、地元の駅近くの土地買収がはじまった。
地元密着な代議士さんの恩恵による駅前再開発である。
工事は２年前から開始され、かなり広い区画がフェンスで覆われることとなった。
その前を通るたびに、こんなとこにこんなでっかい土地確保して何作る気なんだ、と思ったものである。
近所のオバサンたちの噂によれば、
『あそこ、デパートができるらしいわよ！』
なのだそうだ。
デパートなんぞ我が街には分不相応なこと限りなしなのであるが、まぁできたらできたで地元民としてはやはり嬉しいものだ。
故に、ウキウキ気分を抑えることもないままに、そのデパートとやらの完成を待ったのである。
本日はついにそのプレオープンの日であり、当然行ってきた。
